EstateMap.ai's will questionnaire takes about 10 minutes depending on the details of your estate. You can answer the questions whenever you want and save your place so you can come back to them if you don't finish. 

Yes. As soon as you sign it in front of two qualified witnesses, it is a valid legal document. 

Your two witnesses should be 18 or older, be of sound mind, and cannot be named in the will. EstateMap.ai offers notary services for an additional fee and can provide witnesses for you if needed.

Generally, no but a notary is required if you want to make your will self-proving. When a will is self-proving, the court can accept your will without needing to contact your witnesses to prove its validity. This can speed up the probate process. To make your will self-proving, you must include a self-proving affidavit. Your self-proving affidavit must be signed by both you and your witnesses in front of a notary, who will then notarize the affidavit.

EstateMap.ai will securely store a digital copy of your will for easy access and updates. You should also keep a printed copy of your will in a safe, secure place known by the person you pick as your executor. 

Yes, you can update your will at any time. Once you have an account, our platform allows for easy modifications to ensure your will always reflects your current wishes. We make it easy to come back to your will at any time, edit it, and generate a new one. Your updated will must be printed out and sign it in front of two witnesses. It will also need to be notarized again if you want to make it self-proving.

Yes. To do so, simply create and execute a new will using EstateMap.ai, and destroy the earlier version.

If you cancel your subscription, you will still have access to your printed documents. However, you will lose access to EstateMap.ai and any ongoing support and updates provided by our product.
